使徒たちの宣教

五旬祭の日に、2・14ペトロは十一人と共に立って、声を張り上げ、話し始めた。「ユダヤの方々、またエルサレムに住むすべての人たち、知っていただきたいことがあります。わたしの言葉に耳を傾けてください。22イスラエルの人たち、これから話すことを聞いてください。ナザレの人イエスこそ、神から遣わされた方です。神は、イエスを通してあなたがたの間で行われた奇跡と、不思議な業と、しるしとによって、そのことをあなたがたに証明なさいました。あなたがた自身が既に知っているとおりです。23このイエスを神は、お定めになった計画により、あらかじめご存じのうえで、あなたがたに引き渡されたのですが、あなたがたは律法を知らない者たちの手を借りて、十字架につけて殺してしまったのです。24しかし、神はこのイエスを死の苦しみから解放して、復活させられました。イエスが死に支配されたままでおられるなどということは、ありえなかったからです。25ダビデは、イエスについてこう言っています。

『わたしは、いつも目の前に主を見ていた。
主がわたしの右におられるので、わたしは決して動揺しない。
26だから、わたしの心は楽しみ、舌は喜びたたえる。
体も希望のうちに生きるであろう。
27あなたは、わたしの魂を陰府に捨てておかず、
あなたの聖なる者を朽ち果てるままにしておかれない。
28あなたは、命に至る道をわたしに示し、
御前にいるわたしを喜びで満たしてくださる。』

29兄弟たち、先祖ダビデについては、彼は死んで葬られ、その墓は今でもわたしたちのところにあると、はっきり言えます。30ダビデは預言者だったので、彼から生まれる子孫の一人をその王座に着かせると、神がはっきり誓ってくださったことを知っていました。31そして、キリストの復活について前もって知り、『彼は陰府に捨てておかれず、その体は朽ち果てることがない』と語りました。32神はこのイエスを復活させられたのです。わたしたちは皆、そのことの証人です。」

16・10あなたはわたしを死の国に見捨てられず、
あなたを敬う人が朽ち果てるのを望まれない。

マタイによる福音

そのとき、28・8婦人たちは、恐れながらも大いに喜び、急いで墓を立ち去り、弟子たちに知らせるために走って行った。9すると、イエスが行く手に立っていて、「おはよう」と言われたので、婦人たちは近寄り、イエスの足を抱き、その前にひれ伏した。10イエスは言われた。「恐れることはない。行って、わたしの兄弟たちにガリラヤへ行くように言いなさい。そこでわたしに会うことになる。」

11婦人たちが行き着かないうちに、数人の番兵は都に帰り、この出来事をすべて祭司長たちに報告した。12そこで、祭司長たちは長老たちと集まって相談し、兵士たちに多額の金を与えて、13言った。「『弟子たちが夜中にやって来て、我々の寝ている間に死体を盗んで行った』と言いなさい。14もしこのことが総督の耳に入っても、うまく総督を説得して、あなたがたには心配をかけないようにしよう。」15兵士たちは金を受け取って、教えられたとおりにした。この話は、今日に至るまでユダヤ人の間に広まっている。
